According to research by UBS Facebook had recently overtaken YouTube for LIVE video views as per a recent study conducted in November 2016.
Live streaming was launched as Facebook Live April 2016 as per Mark Zuckerberg’s post. Facebook has allowed Page Owners to also utilize Facebook Live which they have also given the Live streaming higher organic reach than both photo and text only updates.
In the meantime, millennials are the biggest consumers and creators of live video—63% have watched live content and 42% have created it according to eMarketer
