In a process that has taken almost a full year, Twitter ™ is now finally giving you back your 140 character count when replying to another Twitter ™ user. Gone are the days that the user with the long username took away the amount of characters that you were able to reply with.
The layout will look a little wonky at first and take some times to get used to but once you get used to it, it should make a nice difference during your conversations.
